Every gamer has heard this name, Alienware. It stands for almost anything a true gamer could ever want. Almost anything, because you don’t get peripherals like those that you could buy from, for example, Razer, but the machine, that is quite something. Alienware PCs are custom built out of highest quality (and the most expensive) parts that are actually available for everyday purchase, however, that is not where the trick is. The guys at Alienware don’t just get happy from assembling an already super expensive gaming rig, they also fine tune it and tweak it for the best possible performance. They calculate quite well, how much power and cooling an overclocked CPU would need, what type of casing and everything else, down to the smallest detail. These machines are then benchmarked on the latest games that are considered the top of the iceberg when it comes to hardware demand. All of them, before being marketed, of course, must pass these tests. It is no wonder then that the average Alienware PC costs well beyond one and a half thousand dollars (that’s the usual starting price). Are they worth it? If you have the money, yes. In every other case, probably no, because even if you make a living by playing games, chances are you only play one game professionally and your PC can, of course, run it just fine, or if you write reviews you do not need ultra-high graphics in order to pass a game and give your judgment about it.
